It has been 2 weeks since the stem cells from her brother had been transfered to her. Luckily her brother's stem cells are compatible with her blood. Her first week was very bad. She had lesions in her throat which made eating difficult for her. I had cajoled her into drinking some manuka honey that has antiseptic ingredients. But she would vomitted as soon as she took some. Everything she ate or drank she would vommitted back.
On Saturday I had made chicken kebab for her. She ate one piece and as soon as she had finished she vommitted everything back. However seeing her enjoying her kebab made me happy a little. As long as she can eat is wonderful for me. I hope she has the strength to go through this final stage of her treatments for her leukemia.
